ORAL HEALTH AND ORAL CARE IN THE RESIDENTIAL CARE SETTING

DENTIAL CARE SETTING

Duration: 3 hour. Morning Session 9.30am to 12.30pm. Afternoon Session 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

This course will be provided for those working with the older person in residential care settings and is suitable for Person in Charge/ Directors of Nursing/ Clinical Nurse Managers and Nurses.

Aim-

This course is designed to equip participants with oral health knowledge, provide skills in oral health care and to help recognise factors that contribute to poor oral health of the older dependent person in the residential care setting.
