The Aim of the Programme

This programme aims to equip leaders and managers with the knowledge and skills needed to integrate coaching skills into the workplace, enhancing employee engagement and fostering stronger working relationships. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to engage with a professional coach between modules, enabling them to apply their learning in real-time and contribute to a coaching culture within their organisations.

Between modules, participants will engage in 1:1 coaching sessions with an Executive Coach, to support their personal development, and help them embed coaching practices and a coaching culture within their organisations.
This programme is interactive, encouraging participants to bring real workplace scenarios to the programme and to learn through experience.

Programme Details
● Duration: 4 x 2.5-hour online modules
● Executive Coaching Sessions: 1 x 60-minute 1:1 coaching session between each module, plus two additional monthly sessions after the programme ends.

Who is it for? Line Managers and Team Leaders

This programme will be delivered by Mona Eames (The Sounding Board) and Connie Merrick (Connie Merrick Coaching).

Dates: April 1st, 15th, 29th & May 6th | ⏰ 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Cost: €2,500 per person (non-members)
Discount: South West Gnó Skillnet members receive 40% funding, reducing the cost to €1,500.


Meet the Facilitators:

Mona Eames has over 25 years of HR experience in the Public Service and has been running her own coaching business, The Sounding Board, since 2016. She’s a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation and has a Master’s in Personal & Management Coaching from UCC. Mona supports people to develop themselves professionally and personally through the coaching process, helping them to gain clarity and take meaningful steps forward in their professional role, life, career. Mona will provide 1:1 coaching throughout this programme.

Connie Merrick has 30 years of experience in the global pharmaceutical industry and set up her own coaching practice Connie Merrick Coaching Ltd in 2019. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation and a certified Strengths Profile Practitioner. She won the “Solo Business Woman of the Year 2024” award with Mayo-Network Ireland. Connie’s mission is to help leaders step into their authentic leadership style for long-term success whilst leading a sustainable and fulfilling professional life. Connie will provide 1:1 coaching throughout this programme.
