Employment Activation Programme (EAP)
Applicants must be unemployed to qualify for entry. Places will be allocated through an interview process.

- QQI Level 5 Care of the Older Person
- QQI Level 5 Care Skills
- Manual Handling (Including Patient Handing)
- CPR and Defib. (Irish Heart Foundation)
- Elder Abuse Prevention Training
- Infection Control
- End of Life Care

On successful completion of these courses, learners will be awarded a QQI Level 5 Care of the Older Person Component Certificate (5N2706) and QQI Level 5 Care Skills Component Certificate (5N2770) along with certificates in Manual Handling, CPR & Defibrillator, Prevention of Elder Abuse, Infection Control & End of Life Care.
